New News:
- The HSA Town Hall Meeting is tonight! The HSA Board of Directors, along with Head Coach Matt Webber, will be hosting this virtual meeting. They will be discussing ongoing HSA Board and Staff projects, upcoming team engagement opportunities, and have a chance to answer any questions you may have. - SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS!
- Our Sea Dragons swim lessons will be starting again on Saturday, September 27th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Richard Showers Center. This is a great volunteer opportunity for all of our swimmers ages 13 and over. If you are interested in helping out or have any questions, please reach out to Coach Michael Bottchen at coachmichael@swimhsa.org.
- All existing members on the team will be bulk-renewed with USA Swimming. If you have had a USA Swimming account with another team, you will need to submit a transfer.
- Please check your group practice calendars regularly for any changes. The practice calendar can be found HERE.
Upcoming Events:
- Ricky Hui Intrasquad Meet: This Saturday, September 20th, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
- HSA Day at Lyon Farms: Sunday, September 21st, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Join us for a team outing at Lyon Family Farms in Taft, TN. The farm is open from 1 to 7 pm, with our main HSA hours being from 2 pm to 5 pm. HSA will not cover the cost of tickets for this event. You can pre-order tickets for your family at a reduced price of $17.95 (plus transaction fee and tax), or tickets at the door will be $19.95 (plus transaction fee and tax). - September ROCKET Meet: Saturday morning, September 27th, from 8:30 to 10:00. The Rocket meets are for swimmers in groups: Explorer 1, Explorer 2, Discovery 1, Endeavor 1, Apollo 1, and Voyager 1. You can register and access the job signup at this LINK.
- Fran Norris Invitational: Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th. Information TBA.
