We offer some of the lowest fees in the region thanks to the generosity of the City of Huntsville and our wonderful sponsors and volunteers.
In addition to monthly tuition fees, families will also pay a fixed “water fee” to cover expenses related to usage of the Huntsville Aquatics Center. Annual USA Swimming and HSA registration fees also apply.
Swimmers in Discovery 1, Endeavor 1, Apollo 1, and Voyager 1 commit to full sessions, offered three times annually. Once registered, families are obligated for the full session in which they are registered for.
Session 1 billing: September 1, October 1 and November 1.
Session 2 billing: January 1, February 1, and March 1.
Session 3 billing: April 1, and May 1.
1st Swimmer is at full price.
2nd Swimmer is 10% off the monthly tuition rate; water fee is billed in full with no discount.
3rd swimmer is 20% off the monthly tuition rate; water fee is billed in full with no discount.
4th+ swimmers pay no monthly tuition fees; water fees are billed in full for each swimmer with no discount.
The USA Swimming and HSA registration fees are both payable in full for every swimmer and are not discounted.
Dues are drafted on the 1st of each month (with the exception of August, which is a ½ month pro-rated fee and will be charged along with the September fee on September 1st) via HSA’s secure SportsEngine Online program. Each monthly draft also will include any meet fees and other charges from the previous month.
HSA registration fees are due upon joining HSA, and in return, your swimmer will receive two t-shirts and HSA team caps. Caps will be replaced within reason throughout the season. Those who participate in championship meets will also receive additional t-shirts.
Fees for new swimmers will be paid directly through the USA Swimming website. Beginning September 1st, HSA will send out team-specific links for each new family/swimmer to create an account with USA Swimming and register their swimmers directly with them. If you are a returning swimmer to HSA or a transfer athlete from another USA Swimming team, HSA will handle the USA Swimming registration and bill your account in November.
Members registering for the Explorer 1A/1B, Discovery 1, and Endeavor 1 groups will register for USA Swimming’s Flex Membership.
All other groups will register for USA Swimming’s premium membership.
Volunteering is expected from our swim families, the same as it is in almost all other club sports. HSA provides numerous opportunities to volunteer, and through volunteering, fees can be significantly reduced.
